2CORINTHIANS 3:6

"Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Spiritual S.O.A.P.

We are teaching disciples to become spiritual vessels fit for the Master’s use. Keep your spirit cleansed with the Word of God. Have you SOAPED today?

S-PIRIT- Has your spirit been fed today with a word or deed?

O-BSERVE- Have you observed a spiritual principle being exhibited in your daily life from you or someone else ( e.g. love, joy, peace)

A-CKNOWLEDGE- What do you need to cleanse/improve yourself?

P-RAY- Commune with God and ask for help with cleansing

Cleanse us oh God and make us better spiritual beings!

Soul

GENESIS 2:7

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. "

As the scripture declares, God formed us and then breathed life into us that we became living souls. In his infinite wisdom, He knew our soulish man without His spirit would never thrive and survive. For the Holy Writ further declares” there is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 14:12

Therefore, we need help guiding us to live the abundant life He promised us for our soulish man (i.e. emotions, intellect) can misguide us in every instance.

Living Rivers mission and mandate is to serve others who are seeking help in obtaining, living and enjoying an abundant life.

Body

Romans 12:5

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members of one another.

We understand that just as the natural body is fitly joined for optimum use, we endeavor to flow together spiritually to have the same effect in ministry.

Recognizing, acknowledging, and celebrating individual lives as gifts to the body of Christ is woven into the fabric of our spiritual DNA. With a keen awareness of the need for all of our spiritual organs and organ systems to function properly that we become a living organism ; we embrace all of the gifts and callings of God that he has endowed upon his people for kingdom building.

We commit to building our spiritual, physical and mental bodies that we may grow thereby. We pursue healthiness in the WHOLE MAN in the efforts to maximize our potential and optimize our capabilities in order to fulfill destiny.

Living Rivers desires that everyone in its local as well as global body DISCOVER, DEVELOP and walk in DOMINION according to God’s divine purpose for their lives.
